The octagonal baptistery in Bergamo's old town (Citta Alta).
The baptistery was constructed in 1340 by Giovanni da Campione. Later, it was dismantled but preserved. The building was reassembled in 1856. In 1889 the baptistery was relocated to its present site, next to Cappella Colleoni.
Eight 14-century statues, representing the Virtues, decorate the upper part of the building.
