Jezzine Waterfalls

The town of Jezzine in South Lebanon is known for its natural beauty. There are several waterfalls and the houses are built right on the edge of the cliffs.

The highest waterfall in Jezzine is about 40 meters high.

These pine trees are native to the Mediterranean region and are found in Southern Europe, Northern Africa and the Levant. Their edible nuts have been used since prehistoric times.

Jezzine, Lebanon

This is the statue of Maria at the entrance of Jazzine, a small town in South Lebanon. Most of the inhabitants of Jezzine are Christian Catholics; followers of the Maronite Catholic Church and the Greek Melkite Catholic Church.
