The
Sveti Georgi (St. George) orthodox church in the city center. The church was built in 1842 and is the oldest church in town. The St. George church is just 12 meters high because at the time of construction a law prohibited Orthodox churches to rise higher than the Islamic mosques. The building has very beautiful and well painted facade. The iconography inside dates back to 1889.
