Roland Fountain in Bratislava

The Roland Fountain (in Slovak: Rolandova fontána) is the most famous fountain in Bratislava. It is located in the Main Square of the Old Town and is one of the city's landmarks.

The fountain is sometimes referred to as Maximillian fountains because construction was ordered by Maximillian II, the King Of Hungary. The fountain is topped by a statue of Maximillian in full knight armour.
